LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION – Boardwalk!
Vassar Square is one of the few condos situated directly on the Boardwalk – great for walking, running, jogging, strolling, rollerblading, bike riding, meeting friends, and relaxing. The Boardwalk runs the entire length of Ventnor and connects with the World-Famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. The entire length is about 6 miles.
Restaurant/Café
Our on-site restaurant is located directly on the Boardwalk entrance. What a perfect spot to watch bikers and walkers pass by while eating a delicious meal or snack inside or at an outdoor table on the Boardwalk.
Beach Chair Service
Step out of Vassar Square onto beautiful Ventnor Beach and have your beach chairs stored in a ‘chair corral’ for a nominal fee. Vassar’s friendly beach staff will carry chairs to your desired sitting location, and return them at the end of the day.
Exercise Room
Located on the Rooftop Level, you can exercise overlooking the expansive vistas of beach, bay, and the Atlantic City skyline. Imagine exercising with these beautiful panoramic views in front of you. This free facility consists of state-of-the-art treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers, weights, and other exercise equipment.
Pool
Relax or play at our beautiful heated outdoor pool, located directly on the Ventnor Boardwalk. Swim laps, participate in free water aerobics classes, or just float your cares away. Bathroom facilities and professional lifeguards available for your convenience and safety as well.
Lobby
Enjoy spending time in our beautiful lobby located directly off the Boardwalk entrance. This is a favorite spot for our Wine and Cheese Parties, and a great place to socialize and meet up with friends.
Library
Our lobby level library has a wide assortment of free books, games, and puzzles for residents. In addition, the library is a perfect place for group card games and gatherings.
Rooftop Party Room
Our large floor to ceiling windowed party room located on the 21st floor offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beach and Boardwalk. The room leads out to a huge rooftop patio deck that overlooks the entire island in every direction. Residents can play cards, games, or watch free Friday night movies on the large-screen TV. The room is also available for private parties for a nominal fee, perfect for family parties with an unsurpassed view!
Valet Parking and Security
Full service 24- hour valet parking is offered for a reasonable yearly fee – indoor or outdoor options. Parking attendants will also assist with loading and unloading when requested. Vassar also provides complimentary visitor parking for guests of residents and complimentary overnight parking when available.
Storage Area
Storage areas are available to residents for their belongings for a nominal fee.
Bike Rooms
Bicycle storage in a secure area with surveillance is available to residents for a nominal fee.
WI-FI
Free Wi-Fi areas are provided to residents and their guests in the lobby and in both the library and Rooftop Party Room.
Social Programs
In addition, our very friendly building offers social events throughout the year such as Wine and Cheese Socials, Ice Cream Parties, Friday Night Movies, and children’s Swim Races on July 4th and Labor Day. All of these events are free to residents and their families.
Getting Here / Transportation Options
About two hours by car from New York City and only about 1 hour from Philadelphia. Less than a block away, brand new Jitney buses run every few minutes 24-hours a day to whisk you to the casinos or other AC attractions. Consider walking the boards, and then hopping on a Jitney back to your Vassar home. We also have NJ Transit buses about one and a half blocks away that take you to various attractions on Absecon Island, including Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, and Longport.
